Salary: Kent Range 5 (GBP19,723, actual salary working GBP16,963.94 based on working 39 weeks a year)

From September 2021, TWGSB are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and adaptable person to join our dynamic and creative Design and Technology department.

This role will support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum within multimedia workshops, including wood, metal and plastics. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and provision of the classrooms and resources, with a view to supporting safe, effective and efficient teaching and learning. They will have the technical competence required for preparing and ordering of materials as well as maintaining machines and equipment. The person will support and guide students in realising the practicalities of their final design, as part of their GCSE and A-Level projects. They will have previous experience working with children, have strong organisational skills and have the ability work as part of a team as well as independently.

The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, there you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
