Scope:

My client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. They now have an exciting opportunity at a respected pharmaceutical customer for a Shift Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all system reports and evaluate all issues and assist to prepare all data reports for the onsite purchasing team
  • Manage the ordering systems, ensuring fulfilment of orders and communicating with external partners to meet ordering requirements
  • Be the point of contact throughout the shift for the client, assisting in problem solving and providing solutions
  • Multi-level management of 16 associates
  • Ensuring the onsite team are adhering to all procedures and health and safety regulations, reporting, and mitigating risks to keep recordables at a minimum
  • Consistent reporting to senior management on KPI's, SLA's and weekly tasks
  • Re-evaluation of SOP's for the services provided, and consistent proposals of ideas for continued evolvement of procedures

About You:

  • Line management of at least 2 associates directly (2 years of direct line management at a minimum)
  • Experience of managing across multiple levels
  • Strong communication both verbally and written
  • GxP - working to the highest standard
  • Matrix management
  • Experience in scientific operations is preferred but not essential
