Our Client is looking for a hardworking professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. We are looking for a long-term candidate who wants a secure and rewarding form of employment.
The ideal candidate will have a background in general MIG and/or TIG welding from light fixtures to structural steel.
Experience
* Preferably 2 year experience, but not essential.
* Experience with jigs and cutting equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Welding and Fabrication of heavy steel.
* Must have the ability to carry out all aspects of work with accordance with Quality and Health & Safety regulations.
* Working as part of a team.
* Meeting production targets.
* Ensuring work is to a high quality.
* Carrying out MIG welding to high standards, using engineering drawings and jig arrangements.
* Must be able to visually inspect all welds, with the ability to recognise and resolve all faults.
Qualifications and Skills
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with detail and excellent quality of work.
* Ability to read fabrication drawings.
* Highly motivated with strong communication skills.
* Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise tasks.
* The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to deal with technical queries and problem solving
Full Time - Permanent Role
