Our client, a highly successful and leading organisation in their field, are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their expanding team. To provide professional, knowledgeable and personalised customer service, whilst managing customer accounts. The successful candidate must be personable, self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
This role will require some Saturday working, when COVID restrictions are lifted (likely to be 1 in 3 weeks)
Responsibilities:
• Creating customer accounts, quotations, sales orders, sales returns and up to date notes on customer requirements.
• To answer the telephone promptly, in a friendly and professional manner.
• To answer emails within a predefined timescale.
• To deal with customers in the showroom as and when required.
• To confidently offer customers creative and practical advice, in relation to company products.
• To assist with keeping the Showroom and its facilities clean, tidy and up to date by following the pre-determined daily tasks.
• To take ownership of complaints and queries to ensure swift resolution.
• To liaise with other departments within the company, as required.
• To resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and determining the best course of action, for a timely resolution.
• To provide general administration duties relating to the role, including brochure requests.
• To show initiative and troubleshoot general day to day IT issues.
• To assist within other areas of the company as the business needs require.
Experience Required:
• Confident verbal communication skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Self-starting and motivated.
• Good attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills.
• Flexible and able to multi-task.
• Works well within a team.
• Competent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM.
• Proactive and willing to learn new skills.
• English/Maths GCSE Grade C or above.
