Electronics Engineer - Motors, Drives, Power Electronics.
Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a powerhouse design and manufacturing company in Sussex working on high-end equipment and components for medical devices, scientific instruments and high-end apparatus for the semiconductor manufacturing industry
With 200+ people on site split down in to small Engineering groups, their friendly team are Aglie(ish) and are looking for an experienced Engineer to join them. You'll be working with a multidisciplinary team of team of Engineers working on new R&D projects, collaborating closely with the software, mechanical, scientific and and application teams (also on site).
A snapshot of their ideal candidate is below. There's stacks of expertise already within the team and they can coach and train where needed for minor knowledge gaps.
You'll need:
A degree in Electronics, Maths Physics (or similar) with experience working in an Electronics Design and Development role.
Experience in Power / Analogue / Digital Electronics
Good knowledge of EDA and CAD tools
Comfortable writing complex technical documentation and reports
A general grounding in embedded SW - not necessarily so you can program things yourself, but so you have the ability to collaborate closely with the software teams on projects and all parties can appreciate the strengths and limitations of the group.
