UX Consultant - an opportunity to join a rapidly growing med tech consultancy with original values!

The role:
You'll be joining a small, close knit team where you'll be heavily involved in the end to end process for a range of exciting and well-established clients!
You will work closely with their patients, healthcare professionals and service providers to really get to the heart of the user need before translating it to a usable digital interface.
Due to the nature of the business I can't go in to too much detail in regards to projects specifics but I am more than happy to discuss this in more depth on a one to one basis.

Your new company:

You'll be joining a med tech consultancy who have seen year on year growth with that trend set to continue, with three acquisitions under their belt this year alone! Priding themselves on their community culture, these guys put their people (employees, client and users) at the heart of everything they do!
The design team is currently made up of 8 however the long-term plan is that this team, like the rest of the business, will continue to grow. This will give the right candidate the opportunity to progress fairly quickly - there's no time limits on progression here, just rewards for hard work and dedication!
You will work closely with the Senior Consultant, providing support and you will be hands on end to end from brief, to research and prototyping, to live! Typically, projects are varied and last anywhere between one and eighteen months with the primary focus being helping users to interact with brands and products for the good of their health - cue that warm, fuzzy feeling!

You:

Obviously you'll be a designer who has worked in a regulated industry before!
However, beyond that, you should be confident in your design and research capabilities, a strong communicator, creative (of course) and any qualifications or accreditations in Human Centred design would be lovely. Really though, they are looking for a really good designer with a strong portfolio and a good attitude!

Interview Process:
So, an initial chat with the TA partner (just 20 minutes) so she can find out a little bit more about you. We would then look to arrange something a bit more formal with the head of department. There will be a small design task too!

The Good Stuff:
We have anywhere up to GBP45,000 for this role depending on experience, with a range of benefits on top of that - 7% employer pension contribution, 10% performance (organisational & personal) based bonus, private healthcare, access to an IFA and wellness incentives.
The role is entirely remote, for now, but going forward we are looking at a 1-2 days in office/remote split.
This is a really interesting role with a fast-growing company, so please do hit apply if you are interested and contact Danielle Carter at Cathcart Associates for more information.
