Are you a Fibre Engineer looking for the next big chunk of work? Whether you are contracting or want to be on the books then our leading UK tier 1 contractor has released approved work across the South of England.

They are building out PON's and providing the main bulk of infrastructure works across the UK on the biggest FTTP contracts.

Do you want to work on patches that are pre-surveyed, with correct route plans and a management team who values your expertise and knowledge?

Cabling responsbilities:

Complete intrusive surveys ('rodding and roping') on the underground and overhead network to locate blockages and establish clear cable routes.
Assess CBT (Connectorised Block Terminal) locations to minimise overhead road crossings.
Produce A55 (As Built) diagrams
Install sub-duct and blow fibre cable on spine routes.
Pull 6 core fibre cable on Passive Optical Network routes.
Introduce fibr=e to nodes and CBT's (Connectorised Block Terminals)
Build and create nodes (fibre cable joints).
Responsible for the company assets and plant assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties.
Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.
Ensuring compliance with all current client processes and procedures

Cabling experience required:

Previous OPENREACH or Virgin Media project experience desirable.
NRSWA certs.
SA001/SA002, A8, A9, K008, N27, N28
Drivers licence.
MEWP ticket - Desirable
