Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

Working primarily across East London and Essex, NU living is creating homes people love, in places where they want to build their future. Currently, we have an opportunity for a Project Manager. You will mainly be based at our Beechwood site in Basildon, Essex. The Project Manager will be responsible for the development of the Strategic Planning of the Project in line with the Project Execution Plan and agreed Project Appraisal.

This role will involve but not be limited to;

• Proactively monitor project health & safety processes, culture and behaviours, ensuring compliance with the Safety Management System and personally attending any serious incidents
• Conduct regular safety Meetings and record actions and findings
• Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the specification and that that any non-compliant items are raised as a non-conformance and corrected as required in a timely manner
• Through the monthly reporting process and other feedback, identify and address potential problem areas, ensuring that client reporting is accurate and appropriate
• Lead the Design Team in reviewing and issuing drawings and specifications to achieve construction status A, B or C
• Responsible for the financial planning and monitoring of the project. To avoid going over budget a PM should consider continually forecasting, keeping the team informed of forecasts and changes

The successful candidate will have/be;

• HNC/HND/BSc Hons (or working towards a BSc Hons) in Construction Management or similar
• SMSTS
• Acute awareness of time to ensure that projects are completed within set timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Evidence of good people management
• Proactive, diligent, able and willing to think ahead
