Accounts Assistant

I am currently recruiting for my client who are based Chester. They are looking for an accounts assistant to join on a contract basis, the position will run for c3-6 months and may be extended or develop into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be hardworking, personable and keen to learn new skills. Knowledge of accounts payable / purchase ledger is a must.

Main duties

Accounts Payable, matching invoices, coding and processing
Posting journals
Reconciling accounts
Admin work

The successful candidate will be able to start a new position within 1 week, interviews will be done initially over Microsoft teams and then a follow up meeting on site.
