Relationship Manager- Pontypridd

National travel and driving license required!

GBP30,000 basic salary/ GBP60,000 OTE + package including local gym membership, flexible working and part working from home options available + paid mileage.

Harrison Sands have a unique new opening with an emerging healthcare recruitment brand based in Pontypridd. We're looking for a Relationship Manager to join them to work across the brand, reporting directly to the Managing Directors.

What does the job involve?

As a Relationship Manager, your role is multi-faceted. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the existing client base. Our client supplies across Wales, England, and Scotland to care homes, domiciliary, and community care services. They have worked hard to gain a strong client base and have a team of established Recruitment Consultants working from the Pontypridd office to source temporary staff for their customer base. Some of the providers they supply to are major nationals with multiple senior stakeholders and procurement leads. As a Relationship Manager, your job is to infiltrate these existing clients, developing key lasting relationships with key decision-makers within each existing client. These could be at Regional Management or board level but could also be senior HR contacts or Care Home Managers themselves.

The Relationship Manager won't be selling directly, rather ensuring that clients are aware of all services the company offer and feel valued as customers and are being serviced in line with industry expectations. You will be building these key relationships with clients via phone and face to face visits, so this job does involve national travel and with time may also offer a car allowance once you're established within the company. As well as visiting clients, you will be able to host and offer corporate events to clients e.g. golf days etc.

Skills/ experience needed

There is no set experience list we are looking for, however, a few definite essentials needed to be a sucess in this position, these being:

* Valid driver's licence and car

* Ability to travel nationally to client visits arranged by you

* A confident and outgoing manner, ability to communicate at a high level both over the phone and face to face

* Experience of working in a customer-focused role dealing with senior-level stakeholders

* A welcoming and friendly manner, not a pushy salesperson!

* Ability to research company internal structures, define key deliverables and decision-makers

* An understanding of the community and residential care home markets is a bonus but non-essential.

Our client are able to offer elements of home/ flexible working if needed but you must be able to commute regularly to the Head Office in Pontypridd as this will be your main base for team development and when not with customers.
