The Role

The key responsibilities of an Extrusion Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:

• Set up, and receive training on the extrusion machine.
• Produce Bubble film for Bubble Mailer Envelopes.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Housekeeping and cleaning of machines.

Bong is one of the largest envelope printers and manufacturers in the UK and Europe, also specialising in light packaging solutions.

Bong UK supplies envelopes predominantly to the UK Office Products market. We also create bespoke mailing solutions for a number of different print management companies across the UK whose customers include design and marketing agencies and mailing houses.

The key skills and qualities of an Extrusion Machine Operator include:

• Be able to work on their own initiative and have good attention to detail
• Have excellent time keeping and attendance record
• Be willing to contribute and progress towards on-going improvements of the business
• Willing to undertake training to enable progression within the company
