We are currently looking to speak to sales professionals with proven success to join our client who are an innovative market leader in the food safety industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build new relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Full ownership of 360 sales cycle
  • Conduct client consultations
  • Delivering live product demonstrations
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Setting up meetings/web demos in order to pitch products and services, either in person or virtually
  • Handling and responding to inbound leads
  • Generating proposals and contracts for approval
  • Providing cover for e-commerce sales team
  • Other responsibilities relevant to the purpose of the role as required by the line manager

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1+ years sales or account management experience
  • Experience in managing the full sales cycle, including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CRM experience is preferred
  • Experience of selling products or services to the food manufacturing or hospitality sector(desirable but not essential)
  • Computer literate in relevant packages (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM Systems)
  • A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective sales pitching skills with the ability to adapt to different clients
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to understand multiple industries and associate different products and services to suit
