We are currently looking to speak to sales professionals with proven success to join our client who are an innovative market leader in the food safety industry.
Responsibilities
- Build new relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Full ownership of 360 sales cycle
- Conduct client consultations
- Delivering live product demonstrations
- Manage sales pipeline
- Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Setting up meetings/web demos in order to pitch products and services, either in person or virtually
- Handling and responding to inbound leads
- Generating proposals and contracts for approval
- Providing cover for e-commerce sales team
- Other responsibilities relevant to the purpose of the role as required by the line manager
The Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ years sales or account management experience
- Experience in managing the full sales cycle, including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
- Experience of selling products or services to the food manufacturing or hospitality sector(desirable but not essential)
- Computer literate in relevant packages (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM Systems)
- A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective sales pitching skills with the ability to adapt to different clients
- Highly organised
- Ability to understand multiple industries and associate different products and services to suit
