iOS Developer - Swift - Newcastle - up to GBP60K DOE - Long term remote working opportunities!

An app development agency is currently looking for a Mid / Senior iOS Developer to join their team. This company pride themselves on engineering high quality apps, frameworks, and services across highly regulated markets.

They have around 20 years of industry experience and are always looking to staying innovative through new technologies and processes. The successful iOS Developer will join a dedicated mobile team, who practice TDD, follow SOLID principles within a continuous delivery environment.

This role will suit someone who has a real passion for iOS Development. It is important that you keep up to date with the latest changes in Apples development platforms, and you should endeavour to write clean code and constantly improve the apps you work on.

Skills

• Extensive experience in iOS development.
• Proficiency with the iOS tech stack including Swift
• Understanding of core computer science principles and concepts i.e. MVC, OOP, memory management
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
• Experience building adaptive UIs for Mobile Devices
• Familiar with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines
• Experience mentoring Junior Team Members.
• TDD - highly desirable

Salary for this role is up to GBP60K DOE

The role will initially be 100% remote, long-term there will be the opportunity for remote working however, it is essential that you are in a reasonable commuting distance from the office to attend when needed.
