Front End Developer

Healthxchange Group is currently looking to recruit an experienced and talented front end React developer to help drive forward the digital vision of the company. Working across a number of websites the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping to deliver company's digital plans.

This position will ideally require the candidate to be office based in Reading however offers remote working/working from home flexibility, there is also the opportunity for the right candidate to join our remote development team based in Newcastle.

Responsibilities

To work alongside the existing Clever Clinic development team to deliver the web administration side of the Clever Clinic iOS application, working closely with the lead application developer to create a robust, stable and user friendly site that provides clinical admin and management functionality

Experience

Ideally the successful applicant will be a Mid to Senior level web developer able to demonstrate a wide technical expertise in the following areas:

• Working with REST APIs, micro-services
• A familiarity with model frameworks
• git (or equivalent)
• continuous integration/deployment
• Javascript/Typescript in context of client-side frameworks such as Angular, React/Reactjs etc.
• sass/css3/
• Html/Html5
• Coding for responsive design
• Cross browser compatibility issues and accessibility awareness
• An interest in UX & UI to make recommendations on improvements
• An understanding of hosting environments & server platforms (Linux, Windows, AWS) would be an advantage
• Working with third parties for development where required in terms of day to day operations, fault finding, support and linking with in-house development

Skills & Qualifications

IT Skills as above alongside use of Desktop software such as Mac/Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook (edited)
