Salary GBP20,748 - GBP22,724 per annum - *In addition there are enhanced rate overtime opportunities*
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm & Friday 8am - 1pm

Our client is a long standing engineering company based in Daventry, they are one of their industry's leading manufacturers in engineered components. They are now looking to recruit a number of permanent staff due to an increase in business demands.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and expanding business.

In the position of MIG welder you will work on a variety of components using engineering drawings. The majority of the welding will be on mild steel.

Role

• Assembly with and without fixtures
• MIG welding and associated processes
• Rolling
• Deburring
• Setting
• Part numbering
• Pressure testing
• Barcoding on and off batch cards and the completion of anomaly forms when required

Requirements

• You must have Mig welding experience
• You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• You must be able to work to strict time constraints producing products to the highest quality
• Have good communication, numeracy & literacy skills for the purposes of reading batch cards, working to the work instructions set and for the completion of daily timesheets
