A legal 500, well established law firm based in Guildford require an assistant solicitor to join their Dispute Resolution team.
The successful dispute resolution solicitor will handle all forms of civil and commercial dispute resolution for commercial and private clients and to build and develop own case load.
Duties include:
- To advise clients and other Departments in civil and commercial litigation matters.
- To assist the department as a whole in meeting its fee earning targets by providing help regarding advice and assistance to clients of the Department as well as other Departments of the Firm.
- Conduct of matters on behalf of clients
- Is developing a client/referrer base.
- Appreciates and identified opportunities to refer work to other departments.
Experience Required:
- 1+PQE
- Experience within a similar role
- Achieves targets set for Assistant Solicitors in respect of chargeable hours, fees, recovery rate, lock-up and non-chargeable time
