Overview:
Are you a Groundworker who is sick of price work and the uncertainty of the day to day nature of your role? Want to come in to a role & company where you can really kick on, develop your skillset further in a sector and environment where the sky is the limit?
We are looking for people who have some groundworker skills, but want to continue their development in a role where you are invested in.
The way we work is perfect for a "work / life" balance. It is a "salaried role" and there are some potential options of overtime (not loads), but we want our people to work 40 hour a week and no more - we think it's important for you to be happy at home and in work!
The person:
We are open to the person & sector here - but we want a professional who is maybe not he finished article yet, but wants to develop and wants a real career in a UK and world leading company. A candidate who wants to continue their development (electrical & mechanical training, for example) and wants to work for a company where we feel work / life balance is essential - not to work every hour God sends.
There is some work across the UK, so the odd night away may be part of the role - we'll look after you if that's the case though!
The role:
A hugely autonomous role where you can manage your own diary. The work carried out will be relatively basic groundworker - so manholes, drains, ducting etc - but a chance to learn the engineering aspect as well.
As we have alluded to already, we are huge believers in work / life balance and long term careers. 40 hours a week is what you will work so not a crazy role with 50/60 hours a week and one where we will keep your development on going.
The role is across the UK and we will try and keep you as local as possible (we have a team for around 25 or so all over the UK), but need "flexibly" from a travel aspect.
The Company:
This is working for a hugely established and world leading orginisation in a pretty unique sector. A company that are still growing and are looking to bring in some sharp staff who want to learn and be trained further - we want to spend money on your development as the better you are, the better we are.
What Next?
If this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail. Look forward to hearing your story
