My client based 20 mins from Yeovil, 15 mins from Crewkerne and 30 mins from Dorchester manufacture and install bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market.
They work with architects, interior designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and private clients who demand the highest quality and specification.
My clients designers, cabinet makers, project managers, veneerers, finishers and fitters are experts in each of their fields and are passionate about their work.
We are looking for Skilled Veneerers to join their team with the following attributes
Minimum of 2 years' experience in furniture both fitted and free-standing
Proven ability to carry out a job from start to finish
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Proven ability to safely operate guillotine, stitcher, and platen press.
Proven ability in selection of veneers species, book matching, slip matching and quartering.
Experience making useful but not essential.
Proven skills in the use of woodworking hand tools
Excellent communication and professionalism both within team and on site with clients
Enthusiastic and hard working
Ambition and desire to succeed
An eye for detail and high standards of workmanship
Schedule
40 Hours Across 5 Days ( 7.30- 4.30)
Overtime available
Overtime paid at time & a half
Salary dependant on experience ( 10- GBP18 phr)
