Complex Care
This role is paid at GBP13ph
Location - Doncaster
Kinetic Nursing Services have been providing care and support since 1996! Supporting the elderly and vulnerable in the local community 24/7. Services includes domiciliary care, end of life care, complex care and the Goodnight Service.
We are seeking an experienced Carer to support the individual on a 1-1 basis. Due to the service users complex care needs they have been awarded 24-hour care. The service user had a serious motorbike accident in 2003, resulting in him having a traumatic brain injury and a spinal cord injury (incomplete). He is now tetraplegic and has complicated associated health issues, lives alone and relies upon staff to assist him to meet his daily needs and activities.
The Aim
To provide the necessary support and assistance to enable the individual to meet his daily needs and activities. Support should be provided in keeping with the individuals preferences and the risk assessments undertaken and authorised by Kinetic. To maximise the individual's independence and promote his health, safety and welfare.
Required Training/Experience
*Minimum of 1 years' experience working within complex care
*Bowel Care management
*Autonomic dyslexia/ Spinal Injury
*Acquired brain injury
*Experience driving an adapted vehicle
You need to be
*Caring and compassionate
*Able to work 12 hours shifts
*Able to commit to the individual
*A car driver with a full driving license, valid to drive in the UK with access to your own transport
*Experienced and receptive to a new challenge
*Quality driven
