Role: Transactional Manager
Full-time: 37.5 hours (permanent)
Location: Erdington
Salary: GBP40,000 per annum
Our client who is a local Housing Provider is looking to recruit a Transaction Manager for the Finance Team based at their offices in Erdington. The successful applicant will manage 3 Team Supervisors across finance transactional teams, and revenue recognition and will report directly to the Finance Director
Key Responsibilities -
* Manage the three team leaders of Credit Control, Payments and Revenue Recognition. Provide management support for the whole team to include team development and regular performance reviews.
* Create a team that is flexible to meet all deadlines.
* Create a culture of delivery and process improvement.
* Management of KPIs for the team. Able to understand and explain performance. Improve performance when required.
* Ensure accuracy in processing of transactional data.
* Creating good relationships across the business. Building trust in our team, our systems and our processes.
* Work with the business so they understand and adhere to key processes and timetables.
* Ensure good quality process notes of all processes are maintained.
* Ensure a strong audit trail is maintained for all transactions.
* Schedules are maintained to support year end audit work.
* Management of relevant software and processes.
* Look for improvements and efficiencies within processes.
* Actively involved in testing of new IT systems or system improvements.
For the role it's essential that you are ACCA or equivalent qualified. In return our client offers an excellent salary and benefits package
