A well-established and global leading manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area is looking for a Buyer to join the business. This is a full-time permanent position working in a busy, fast paced, demanding environment and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Materials.
The successful Buyer will be responsible for:
Ensuring the supply of materials necessary for production
Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns
Maintain agreed stock levels for all raw materials inventories
Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, supplier payments
Liaising with various internal departments, suppliers, distributors
Ensuring materials meet specifications and are cost efficient
In return, the successful Buyer will have a rewarding career with an excellent organisation that offers training, support, and career development. This is a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on a Friday. Competitve salary depending on experience.
I am keen to see your CV if you are having experience as a buyer or any relevant experience within a purchasing or materials department. Ideally you will come from working in the manufacturing sector and you should have strong negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also attention
