Hospiscare are looking for a Relief Sales Advisor. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP8.91 per hour. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday. This role is based at the Hospiscare Enterprise Centre in Exeter and covering at locations across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

About the Relief Sales Advisor role:

With a genuine interest in charity retail, you would provide cover to various Hospiscare shops as required to support the day to day running of those shops in the absence of the shop manager. Our Relief Sales Advisor will also contribute to maximising the income and profitability of shops to which relief cover is provided. To be considered, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills, and demonstrate a commitment to teamworking which will allow you to work alongside colleagues and volunteers.

Responsibilities of our Relief Sales Advisor:

- Perform all aspects of shop operations from housekeeping to cash handling to ensure the smooth running of the shop in the absence of the shop manager

- Identify opportunities to increase income, in order to assist shop managers in achieving and exceeding shop targets

- Monitor and maintain Gift Aid stock to ensure it is given priority, ensuring compliance with HMRC guidance and data protection legislation, to secure this income, liaising with the Gift Aid Administrator in order that the donor database is up to date and accurate

- Assist with the sorting of donations from the general public, house clearance, collections and our corporate partners, to ensure continuity of stock flow

- Undertake visual merchandising and display products effectively in line with visual merchandising guidelines, using creativity and commercial awareness to support maximising sales

- Support shop teams in providing excellent service to ensure a great customer experience is achieved for both internal and external customers and to secure customer engagement and repeat sales

What we're looking for in our Relief Sales Advisor:

- GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English

- Demonstrable experience in delivering exemplary customer service

- Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team

- Developed IT skills

- Developed communication skills

- Developed leadership skills

- Developed time management and organisational skills

- Able to travel throughout the Hospiscare area to cover all shop locations as required

- Able to be flexible with working days, hours and range of tasks to be undertaken for the role
