What does a Care Expert do?
A Care Expert will complete a functional assessment of a claimant following a significant injury that results in a clinical negligence or personal injury claim. Following their assessment, the expert will produce a report covering the lifelong needs of a claimant. This report includes care, equipment and housing and will help the court decide on the amount of compensation to be paid to the claimant.

Jacqueline Webb & Co provide Care Experts that undertake assessments and provide impartial and independent reports on an individual's needs after a catastrophic/life-changing injury. Our team is made up of a high proportion of highly qualified Community Occupational Therapists.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for Community Occupational Therapists that are motivated and enthusiastic about making significant change; who want freedom and flexibility in a role whilst taking the next step in their personal and/or professional development.
We find Community Occupational Therapists who have been working in Adult Social Care or NHS community care settings make the best Care Experts. We want you to use your skills in assessing and recommending exactly what the injured individual needs. Don't worry, you bring your practical experience, we will teach you the rest.
We need you to have:
- 6+ years' practical, hands-on clinical experience.
- Recent hands-on experience of working with orthopaedic, amputee and/or multi-trauma injuries.
- Capacity to accommodate at least 10 hours of work per week, in addition to your current role.
- Experience of working in the community care setting.
