Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes on fundraising projects? You can support your local fundraising team in a volunteer administrator role.

You will be supporting your team with Corporate Partnership & Grants research and engagement activities, helping to develop and maintain strong partnerships across our networks and supporting with the research, preparation and submission of funding applications. Your help will raise vital funds and together we can make a big difference.

To join our team you don't need any previous experience, however basic computer literacy and an understanding of Microsoft office is desirable. We ask that you are warm and enthusiastic as we will provide training necessary (including coronavirus specific measures).

You will need to be over 16 (16-17 subject to parental consent, risk assessment and supervision considerations). We look forward to meeting you!

This role can be undertaken from home providing you have access to a suitable pc or laptop, or in a British Red Cross office (subject to availability)



What you will be doing

  • Supporting with thanking donors, and other vital admin tasks
  • Researching and contacting local business and organisations
  • Helping with the organisation and promotion of a variety of projects
  • Contacting volunteers and supporters


The skills you need

  • Enthusiasm!
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • Min age 15 (subject to parental consent, risk assessment and safeguarding considerations)
