At Sport England, we want everyone regardless of age, background or level of ability to feel able to engage in sport and physical activity.
We are looking for an outstanding individual to help us expand the expertise of the Investment Management Team to enable us to extend our reach to new audiences.
You will provide expert advice and guidance to influence key decision makers from across the business, working to ensure Investment programmes operate effectively. This will include adherence to Sport England investment policies, utilising resources efficiently delivering maximum outcomes from investments, and whilst delivering an excellent customer service.
The role will be deployed across all areas of investment, including project engagement, grant processing and project performance. You will have excellent relationship management skills, both with internal and external stakeholders, and have a track record of driving success within projects. You will have strong research and analytical skills and be able to communicate recommendations and decisions effectively, both orally and in writing.
Experience of grant investment, including programme development and management, assessment and decision making, would be a significant advantage, as is the ability to identify solutions to achieve results. While experience of working in sport is not essential a passion for making a difference is.
Sport England recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
