Inclusive Boards (IB) is an executive search and advisory firm that specialises in equality, diversity and inclusion. We support organisations and sectors in their efforts to develop more diverse boards, senior leadership teams and stronger governance structures. Our services include Executive Search, Advisory, and Training. The postholder will play a supporting role in supporting our clients.

Role and Responsibilities - Executive Search

  • Supporting organisations and sectors with efforts to improve diversity through candidate sourcing, candidate matching, and other advisory services
  • Forging excellent relationships with clients and candidates;
  • Filtering applications, reviewing CVs;
  • Vetting candidates, interviewing and assessing skills prior to longlisting and or shortlisting;
  • Where applicable, arrange psychometric or other selection specialist services within the shortlisting process;
  • Undertake meetings with candidates and clients
  • Offering direct support to colleagues and candidates
  • Ensuring that standards of work are upheld both personally and with peers to ensure consistency, quality and compliance;
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.

CRITERIA

In your formal application, we request that you respond directly to as many of the criteria listed below, however candidates need not meet all the person specification criteria to apply. There is an expectation that all candidates will be able to demonstrate suitable knowledge and experience of conducting research, worked in a sales role and/or in recruitment before.

Qualifications (D)

A degree (preferably a higher degree) in a subject with a significant quantitative element.

Skills/competences (E)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and appropriately to various audiences.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative worker and team player
  • Skills in analysing evidence and drawing appropriate conclusions.

Knowledge (D)

  • Knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Knowledge of equality and diversity practices and the legal framework
  • An understanding of recruitment practices and procedures

Previous experience (D)

  • Experience of working in a sales and/or customer service role
  • Experience of working in recruitment
  • Experience of working in a research role and performing quantitative and qualitative research using a range of methodologies
  • Experience of analysing data from a range of sources
  • Experience of dealing with enquiries using a range of communication methods

(These can be in the context of academic experience as well as work experience)

Additional
