Trust Housing Association Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker (Housing - Older People) to join our team in Kinghorn. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis working 16.75 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive rate of GBP9.76 - GBP9.87 per hour.

Trust Housing Association is a national housing, support and care provider, offering a range of accommodation and support services. Primarily serving older people in our communities we also provide housing for families and individuals. We have over 3,600 households across the length and breadth of Scotland, from the Highlands and Islands all the way down to the Borders.

What we're looking for in our Support Worker (Housing - Older People):

You'll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. As one of our Supported Housing Workers you will be required to work 67 hours per four weeks, working on a rolling rota including evenings, alternate weekends and sleepovers. Within the rolling pattern, you will have every alternative weekend off, if you would like to discuss the rota pattern, please call and speak to the coordinator. It'll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you'll bring to this important role.

Skills and experience required to become our Support Worker (Housing - Older People):

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team, we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development. Cooking is an essential task; therefore, applicants should have a keen interest and be able to cook for up to 12 people as we have an evening meal service for tenants. Working in partnership with other care providers and health care support is also an important element to support tenants with their changing needs.
