CSP Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join the team at a well established, expanding food manufacturer based in West Leicestershire.

This is a permanent position with hours of Mon to Fri day shift, but you will be fully flexible to cover out of hours and additional shifts where needed

Reporting into the Operations Director, as the Warehouse Manager, you will be managing 4 Shift Managers and their teams to ensure that all required warehouse activities are completed effectively for a smooth and efficient operation. A competitive salary is on offer for the right individual.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER:

* You will manage all warehouse areas from inbound, stock/inventory, picking/packing to despatch.

* Identifying improvements and implementing lean methodology to streamline processes.

* To ensure all targets are met and carry out weekly reviews of all KPI's, measures & performance.

* To maintain and enforce company procedures: for example: hygiene, H&S and Technical/GMP standards

* To follow the company's and customers health and safety policies and procedures

* To ensure staff responsible to you work to the company's health and safety policies and procedures: including PPE and ensuring staff are properly equipped and MHE equipment is used correctly

* To effectively Supervise staff under your control, to motivate staff and maintain staff morale

* HR Management - to conduct appraisals, disciplinaries, holidays, absence management and recruitment of agency workers

* People Management - to identify and deliver training & develop of your Shift Managers and their teams

* Compile reports/plans on shift and team activity for Senior Management

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER:

* Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a similar position (ideally within the Food Production/Manufacturing industry

* Solid People & HR Management experience

* Extensive knowledge of using WMS' and implementation of these

* Have a proven track record in change and KPI management

* Be a strong leader of people - able to steer, develop and motivate

* Strong work ethic and outward professionalism

* Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence
