Marketing Analytics Manager - LexisNexis Risk Solutions - Cardiff or London with flexible working

Summary:

We're looking for a marketing analytics manager to help us drive continuous improvements in our marketing activity and better understand the evolving needs of our customers. The marketing analytics manager will support us in optimising lead generation and PPC strategies as well as guiding our marketing campaigns with strategic insights into the content that's resonating; the formats that are working best; the channels that will help us reach our target audiences. A key role within our marketing management team, the analytics manager will be responsible for helping to drive success, providing strategic recommendations into what is working and where improvements are needed.

The person we're looking for will combine strong analytical skills and an attention to detail with commercial acumen. You're tech savvy and are curious and driven - someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of marketing performance data and understanding how and where to make a difference. Responsibilities:

* Working as part of the Marketing Operations pillar, focused on maximising marketing return on investment (ROI) and helping to drive overall departmental productivity and efficiency.

* Responsible for closely monitoring marketing metrics and customer data, marketing pipeline, channels, lead conversions and attribution, investigating changes in activity (spikes or dips in performance) and providing recommendations on how to improve performance

* Designing, maintaining and actively reporting on a dynamic dashboard of strategic marketing metrics, to help the marketing management team take timely decisions to improve marketing activity.

* Helping to set the objectives for, and analysing the commercial impact of marketing campaigns to make sure they achieve what they set out to, particularly in relation to strategic target accounts and priority industry verticals.

* Taking an active interest in monitoring current market developments in our areas of focus as a business, including the fight against fraud and financial crime; the developing digital identity space and how businesses can effectively verify and authenticate consumer identities online; and helping businesses keep their customer data up to date so that they can get in touch when they need to.

Experience / Skills:

* You will have a proven track record and experience of high performance within marketing analytics with considerable experience in data analysis and reporting

* Excellent working knowledge of BI tools, Web Analytics platforms and CRM such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Tag Manager, Oracle BI (Eloqua), Salesforce

* Proficiency in query-based languages (such as SQL), website traffic analytics, marketing attribution analysis, and experience drawing insights from data warehouses and large datasets

* Knowledge of digital marketing and familiarity with multiple digital ad platforms such as Google Ads is preferred

* Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
