My client is a digital agency and they are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to head up their front-end website division. You will be working alongside the Head of Development and you will be responsible for leading the front end website department, managing website delivery, the wider team and driving future departmental strategy.
About The Role
The role reports directly to the Head of Development and will manage the wider front-end team, whilst also working alongside our Head of Projects and Digital Designer. This is a full-time role, initially working remotely but with the future likelihood of 1-3 days within a London based office. ???
Candidates who do not live near London will still be considered however travel into the office monthly may be required.
How you can expect to spend your day:
Develop industry-leading real estate websites using HTML, CSS & JavaScript - Build and maintain high-quality code - Take ownership of your code and show pride in your work - Work closely with the internal creative team to aid project efficiency - Manage the wider team, reviewing work and implementing and managing departmental best practices ???
About You: ??? Minimum proficiencies,
2-3 years' experience working with: - HTML - CSS / SASS - JavaScript ???Nice to haves: - Liquid (Shopify) experience - Experience with jQuery and React - Experience working to modern web accessibility standards - Understanding of SEO and page speed best practices. Candidates with experience working in a start-up environment would also be a plus.
Personality: - Professional attitude, excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously - Calm under pressure - Ambitious and eager to develop core skills
