Import / Export Administrator
Salary: GBP19k - GBP22k plus excellent benefits
Role: Full Time Permanent - Monday - Friday normal business hours
Location: Middlesbrough - A19
Sector: Transport & Logistics, global organisation
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large European Logistics organisation in an Import / Export Administrator position. You will provide administrational support to the large commercial logistics team in this new additional role to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* To coordinate all export / import documentation - administration
* To liaise with customers, customs and operational teams ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame.
* You will liaise with customers to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place and all customer needs.
* To liaise between suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping agents to obtain up to date shipment information.
* To provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
* Preparing required export documentation for international shipments
* Liaising with transport companies including: requesting quotes and negotiating prices
* Raising and maintaining accurate purchase orders
* Uploading export documentation onto the company's in-house system
* Proactively communicate customer issues and propose solutions to operations/commercial management as well as to the customer
* Responsible for documenting, researching and responding to customer complaints concerning products, deliveries, invoicing, service, and other queries
* Be able to work in a busy environment, effectively prioritising workload.
* Strong attention to detail.
* You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment communicating across Europe.
