My client is currently looking to hire an Assistant Coffee Shop Manager to join their team based in York. Within the role you'll be responsible for supporting the General Manager and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
* Resolving any customer complaints in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring the customer leaves happy
* Ensuring the full range of food and beverages are served to standard at all times
* Assisting in training new Baristas as directed by the General Manager
* Liaising with the team on daily business updates and audit results, working on areas for improvement alongside the General Manager
The ideal candidate:
* Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a retail business
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proactive and willing to act under their own initiative as required
Due to the nature of the role, previous experience working with food and beverages (particularly in a coffee business) would prove advantageous, though it isn't essential for the role.
