Ashford Neath Recruitment are specialists within the industrial, warehousing, transport & logistics and commercial sectors on both a temporary and permanent basis.
We are currently recruiting for Pickers, Packers and Dispatch Operatives to work within our busy, Swansea Based, new, distribution centre. Operatives will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipments (sorting, loading and unloading goods), preparing and verifying shipping documents and ensuring products are stored in the current location and in a good condition. Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area ready for delivery.
Reporting into a site team leader, your role is to ensure that you achieve all daily KPI targets, follow all direct requests from your leadership team, while adopting a positive, flexible approach in your position. You must ensure that you and your colleagues are kept safe and secure, by ensuring that all site safety standards are adhered too.
This role will require a good level of numeracy and literacy. A sound knowledge of Music, Film and Pop culture is preferred but not essential.
All team members must ensure, along with any other duties or tasks required by your line manager that they do the following:
* To ensure all site safety guidelines / initiatives / standards are maintained across your team
* Contribute towards the team whilst maintaining a positive attitude
* Ensure that your team members are treated fairly and with respect
* Ensure that you complete all requested tasks/duties in line with the training and processes in place
You will be working across a 7 day operation for a total of 37.5 hours per week -shift pattern to be confirmed upon registration - Working hours 09:00am - 17.30pm
