Role overview
Our client is a privately owned company and one of the largest convenience retailers in the UK, currently servicing circa. 1,000 convenience stores and one of the UK's largest suppliers of catering products to schools, local authorities, public houses, restaurant chains and the leisure industry. Employing more than 7,500 people with a turnover in excess of GBP1 billion.
We are currently helping to recruit Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers across a number of our clients sites:
1. Willenhall
2. Telford
3. Wakefield
4. Talbot Green
5. Hastings
6. Sittingbourne
We are offering:
* Excellent rates of pay with the opportunity for additional productivity based earnings
* Additional shifts paid at GBP17.50/GBP16.75 per hour
* Early start allowance of GBP1.42 per hour before 6am
* Between 45 - 48 average hours per week
The job role includes:
* Multi-drop - between 5 and 15 deliveries.
* Roll cage deliveries of products to foodservice establishments using refrigerated vehicles and tail-lifts
* Collection of empty roll cages and customer waste/returns.
* Some hand-ball deliveries are required.
* Majority of start times are between 0200 and 0600
* Nationwide deliveries.
* Some nights out may be required
* 4/5 out of 6/7 day shift pattern options
