Overview
City Recruitment Group Executive are recruiting for a Planning Manager to work for an established confectionary, food manufacturing business on a permanent basis. This role is paying between GBP27,000 - GBP35,000 dependant on experience.
Your new role
This role would suit a passionate individual with strong food manufacturing planning experience & a thorough understanding of end to end supply chain functions with a focus on 100% order fulfilment.
This role will be responsible for the day to day running of the production planning team and function, ensuring that your team has the right levels of support, metrics and tools available to them to carry out their jobs effectively.
This role is fast paced and works across a large number of functions, we are looking for someone to bring experience and production planning knowledge that will support the growth of the business and the expansion.
* Manage & oversee the day to day operations of the Production Planning Team
* Subject Matter Expert for all production planning queries
* CI of processes focused on LEAN, efficiencies & quality of service delivery
* Create & deliver the very best planning profile for all production lines
* Implement production planning strategies that maximise line running time
* Coach, mentor & develop the Planning teams
* Design, develop and implement planning solutions to fulfil requirements
What you'll need to succeed
* Production Planning Management experience in Food / FMCG
* Ability to work in fast-paced evolving food manufacturing & distribution environment
* Proven Management skills with the ability to drive a high performing team
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, vlook ups etc.)
* Strong computer skills
* Analytical
* Strong experience with ERP, WMS systems
* Experience in a food supply chain environment or FMCG
