We are looking for a Laptop Tester to join a highly recognized international manufacturing company working in South Wales.
The role of the Laptop Tester is to test and clean hardware in the form of robust laptops, tablets and handheld PCs.
Candidates who can demonstrate the equivalent experience may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities of a Laptop Tester:
* The ability to test laptops and tablets to the required standard, using the provided software.
* Inspect laptops and tablets for any defects.
* Maintain a database of test results and print out on a daily basis.
* Clean the laptops and tablets with the provided tools.
* Work as part of a team, supporting peers as requested.
* Achieve key targets & deadlines with excellent quality output.
Skills and Experience of a Laptop Tester:
* Experience in a similar position with proven quality track record.
* Proven understanding of software & computers.
* Computer literacy should include (but not be limited to) standard Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of Oracle Siebel & Microsoft SharePoint applications advantageous.
* Technical understanding of computers is advantageous.
* Experience of computer components is desirable.
Full training will be provided.The suitable Repair Technician will be comfortable in working as a team
and developing colleague relationships are crucial in the success of this role. The Laptop Tester will also be a savvy problem-solver and will have the ability to multi-task across jobs.
