Senior Carer

Charity Earnshaw Home Care is looking to appoint a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN), on a part-time or full time basis.

We are a family oriented friendly care agency operating in East Devon mainly in the Sidmouth area.

Hours are flexible to suite and we are looking for 20 to 25 hours per week part-time and 40 hours per week full-time for the initial contract.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• ??Monitoring quality of care in relation all medical requirements,
• -Medical competency checks on our carers,
• ??Overseeing the service users health and wellbeing including medical audits of medicines at the Service Users home,
• ??Supporting care staff to always provide and demonstrate best practice,
• ??Liaising with all multi-disciplinary team members,
• ??Using your skills, knowledge and understanding to ensure our service users have the best experience possible,
• If full time you will also be expected to provide care to our complex care service users, the split in hours being approximately 50% care, 50% administration/support.

Up to GBP18 per hour plus mileage from the office in Newton Poppleford to the service user homes.

Must have own car.
