Our client based in Cambridge is looking to recruit an S&OP Manager to join their FMCG business. Working for a European Business, you will be reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you will be joining a thriving business who have created this brand new role so they can lead the way in all things S&OP.

Key responsibilities for S & OP Manager:

Design and Deliver the S&OP structure within the business which has multiple sites across the UK. This will include the setting up and running of S&OP meetings across the business as well as setting & managing relevant KPI's.
Work with supply planning and demand planning to ensure full alignment.
Identify CI opportunities from an S&OP perspective and deliver these in line with the business KPI's.
Ensure that the business fully understands the importance of S&OP and you will be responsible for driving this awareness and sometimes having to educate the wider business of the importance of this function.The background for the S&OP Manager:

Highly experienced in S&OP with a number of years recently working in this discipline.
You will be able to demonstrate an indepth knowledge of processes and procedures of S&OP.
ERP systems will be your bread and butter. And how this interacts with demand planning, inventory management and master scheduling.
A background in FMCG, ideally food or drink.
Drive, ambition and a self-starter is a given as well as being able to make decisions in a pressurised environment.
Creative problem-solving with excellent communication skills.
Great attention to detail with an analytical mind.
Seeing potential risks before they happen!
