Team Profile:
The Global Operations Signatory and Policy Control Team has a requirement for a contingent/contract worker to assist their global team based in the Glasgow office. Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate the storage of the Operations' Policies & Procedures on Firm systems;
- Perform the Approved Exclusion Reviews and prepare reporting for Senior Management;
- Perform the required reviews of all Authorised Signatory Lists for Operations and work with Operations and the Company Secretaries to update the lists, as required;
- Create new Authorised Signatory Lists for Operations, where required, and work with Operations and the Company Secretaries to obtain approval for the new lists;
- Obtain certified copies of Operations' Authorised Signatory Lists, as required and send to the appropriate groups within Operations;
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with divisions throughout the organisation, including, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Company Secretaries, Finance, and the wider team.
- Assist with releasing courses to Operations in line with global requirements;
- Perform the review and approval of Operations' Policies and Procedures in line with Operations Policy
Skills required:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience/knowledge within an Operations', Legal, Risk or Compliance related environment and/or a Bachelors degree in a related field. They will be a confident analytical person with excellent oral and written communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Effective communication, interpersonal and analytical skills as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- The ability and confidence to interact and influence effectively at all levels of the organization to present views and gain consensus amongst them;
- Well organised and can perform multiple day-to-day activities with minimal guidance and supervision, displaying excellent prioritisation and time management skills;
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks, can work independently/remotely and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and contributing to team output and development;
- Understands the business they support and is able to build and manage relationships on a day to day level with key stakeholders;
- Recognises risk in day-to-day processes, draws out the key issues and suggests ideas for continuous improvement, manages change to new or existing work streams;
- Previous experience of working with a vendor team in a remote location;
- Proficient in MS Office suite of applications.
