Company
A Credit Controller is required to join a local and well-established company who have a presence within the Humber region and nationally within their sector. With their offices based in East Hull, our clients finance team is growing rapidly and they are now seeking a full-time Credit Controller who will join a team of Credit Controllers. As the Credit Controller for this business, you will have experience of running a busy ledger from start to finish. The ideal Credit Controller will have an eye for detail and be a confident communicator both verbally and written.
Opportunity
As the Credit Controller, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for;
* Effective collection of all debts and customer payments
* To be responsible for recovering overdue amounts from customers using various communication methods, including taking responsibility for reducing amounts owed and debtor days
* Effective control and handling of a large ledger of over 300 live customers
* Reporting upon financial performance of the credit control function
* Keep up to date with bank statements and post and allocate daily receipts
* Setting up and managing new accounts
* Setting and monitoring credit limits on new and existing accounts
* Processing of invoices, debit and credit notes
* Liaising internally and externally to resolve queries in a timely manner
Person
To be the successful Credit Controller you must have;
* Experience within Credit Control team
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines
* Strong, confident and good interpersonal skills
