Hospitality Manager / Assistant Hospitality Manager

Salary:

Salary to be discussed upon application and relevant to experience.

Hours:

40 Hours per week across 5 days

Location:

Based primarily at The Globe Inn, Dumfries, DG1 2JA. (Owned by Annandale Distillery)

You will also be required to work at other local sites owned by the Distillery.

We've recently been awarded the accolade of 5 Star Visitor Experience by Visit Scotland. Now it's time to bring the same level of excellence to The Globe Inn, Dumfries.

The Globe Inn, Burns' favourite howff, Est. 1610, is a stunning restaurant with an abundance of history, that's located within the heart of Dumfries. It has recently undergone sympathetic refurbishment. The Globe Inn now hosts a 40-cover restaurant, 3 beautiful private dining and tasting rooms and stunningly curated Robert Burns museum rooms, all steeped in the history of its most famous patron - the poet Robert Burns.

The business strives to offer some of the best food, beverage and service in the region. Our Michelin experienced chefs bring together high-quality ingredients to deliver inspiring dishes. Our unique beverage offering highlights over 300 single malts. The Globe Inn has recently been appointed as the Scotch Malt Whisky Society's partner bar for the south of Scotland. Due to increasing popularity The Globe Inn has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate individual to lead our close-knit and dynamic front of house team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in a thriving, supportive and driven workplace. This role also provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to bring their own ideas to the table and develop them further, and as the business develops, to grow with it.

  • Ability to be proactive and to use initiative.

Training provided and career progression possible for the right candidate.

Position to start as soon as possible.

Candidates must be 18+.
