IMMEDIATE START FOR HGV/LGV CLASS 2 DRIVER***
The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Portsmouth area for a HGV/LGV Class 2 Driver for a Temp to Perm position to start ASAP.
You will be required to drive a curtain side vehicle where your deliveries will be forklifted off. Minimum handball required but may still be needed.
You may also be required to help with work in the warehouse, helping to load vehicles, also Forklift work if you hold a forklift licence.
Hours of work for the HGV Class 2 Driver:
* Hours of work will be around 0700/0800 starts each day.
* Minimum 8 hours work paid.
The HGV Class 2 Driver will be required to have:
* Full UK Cat C/HGV2 Licence
* CPC Card
* Digital Tacho Card
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential (Training for Forklift will be provided after qualifying period)
* New pass driver will be accepted.
* Good Geographical knowledge and understanding of Tacho Laws.
Rates of Pay for the HGV Class 2 Driver:
* All hours Monday to Friday paid at GBP11.50ph - Overtime paid at time and a half.
* Weekend work paid at time and a half.
* We will only accept PAYE for this contract.
