Technical Administration Officer (CAZ)required for our local authority client based in Bath
Clean Air Zone
THE ROLE:
As one of a team this role will be required to take responsibility for a technical process in support of service delivery, applying knowledge and skills to a range of activities demonstrating understanding of the service area, relevant administrative procedures and guidelines
The primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the teams of Business Engagement Officers and Travel and Transport Advisors including the setting of appointments with clients and maintaining records of outcomes of engagement with businesses through the Clean Air Zone project.
Working within the wider team to promote the changes required by the Clean Air Zone to achieve compliance with the EU objective limits in line with Government guidance, in order to achieve sufficient improvement in air quality and public health.
Carrying out door to door promotional and awareness raising activities (especially in relation to the grant and loan schemes)
engaging households and businesses through direct interaction
provide 1:1 travel planning advice
Identifying and establishing relationships and working with local community and business groups including but not limited to parish councils, business groups, schools and landlords and residents' associations
Receiving and responding appropriately to enquiries by telephone, letter, email, in person, etc.
Supporting events, roadshows, exhibitions, etc., including setting up displays and distributing promotional material.
Assisting in general administrative duties that ensure the smooth running of the service
Assisting with literature reviews and the preparation of reports for scientific publications.
Monitor, record and produce reports on activities and performance, including participation monitoring and face to face surveys to allow management to assess success of the overall scheme
As part of the behaviour change team, participate in devising strategies and activities to access and work with households and businesses
Support the academic researchers at the University to devise and administer surveys
Assist in the design of promotional materials including press releases, leaflets, posters, internet pages, etc.
