Communication Support Worker
Temporary 1-year contract in the first instance
Salary: H5 (GBP17,521 - GBP18,818 per annum)
30 hours per week • Term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic communication support worker to join our successful and friendly Hearing Impaired Provision (HIP). The HIP is a nine place additionally resourced provision, which caters for Deaf and Hearing Impaired pupils with a variety of hearing levels and communication modes. Current cohort use SSE more than BSL, however this can vary depending on the communication needs of pupils admitted.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or qualifications working with children with hearing difficulties and be passionate about teaching and learning.
