Digital Marketing Executive

Here at Blue Octopus, we are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join us at our Head Office in Otley, West Yorkshire.

What you’ll do:

• Design and update careers websites for our clients
• Communicating with clients regularly on their career site requirements
• Updating the Blue Octopus website using WordPress CMS
• Monitoring and managing the Blue Octopus social media accounts and creating engaging content across all the platforms
• Designing social media graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
• Writing content for the website such as, blog articles relevant to our product suite
• Conducting regular market research to evaluate trends within the industry
• Proof reading marketing materials
• Monitoring website analytics
• Developing internet presence by improving SEO and visibility

What you’ll need:

• Good communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to prioritise tasks and structure your workload – keeping to tight agreed deadlines
• Work on multiple projects at a time
• Good research and analytical skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to bring new ideas

Core attributes:

• Ability to use Adobe software such as Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign
• CMS platform knowledge such as WordPress
• Knowledge of social media platforms. Experience in scheduling and content planning is desirable.
