Housing Administration Officer

Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Housing Administration Officer based in Loughborough. This role is a temporary contract, working full time hours. There is scope for this contract to be extended at the end of the placement.
You will be required to provide an administrative service across the Strategic and Private Sector Housing Service, and deliver of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.
You will deal with all enquiries including managing mailboxes across the Service, from customers and partners by taking ownership of and resolving the query as well as maintain and input data into a range of databases/spreadsheets to support the Service in completion of government statistical returns and to monitor performance, along side various clerical and administrative duties.
With regard to the Private Sector Housing responsibilities you will be required to contact customers/professionals in respect of Grant referrals from Partners ensuring we have all the information needed for colleagues to undertake home visits, monitor and progress Grant repayments and Land Charge data, assist with updating and maintaining a database of empty homes across the Borough, and maintain the registers for HMO and Caravan site licenses.
We are ideally wanting a candidate with administration experience, specifically within housing, and a great in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Housing Grants would also be desirable.
