Overview
My manufacturing client is looking for an Office team leader to manage a small team of 2 sales administrators. You will be responsible for providing support to the Directors, managing the Administration team, processing the sales orders correctly and taking responsibility for the day to day running of a busyfamily run sales office. This position is in a fast paced busy environment and will suit somebody looking for a varied management role in a business that highly values their staff. you will also be managing sales orders with the team and dealign iwth key accounts.
The role
You will be responsible for the management of the sales administration team and all other processes that support the effective running of a commercial office. Duties will include:
Producing regular reports for Directors and Heads of Departments. This includes operational, quality and sales - stock reports
Diary management and travel arrangements for Directors
Sales and purchasing invoices
Being first point of contact for any customer issues
Line management of a small sales support administrative team
Management of all sales administrative functions for the business and order delays
Playing a key role in new staff recruitment
Management of commercial contracts, for example alarms & security, office equipment, stationary suppliers and cleaners.
Ideal candidate
The successful candidate would ideally come from an office management background or similar and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage teams and ensure the effective day to day running of a busy office. You will need to have a good attention to detail, be organised and proactive in your approach to work and possess strong communication skills. The company work within a manufacturing or distribution industry, if you have experience of similar it would be advantageous but not essential.
