I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but in case you've been away from the sector a little while, the Further Education market is absolutely booming at the moment - particularly in the Apprenticeship side.

Better Apprenticeship programmes, less of the outdated stigma, the government incentives, and the need for young people to have more opportunity considering the educational impact of the Covid pandemic - all of this has lead to an incredible up turn in apprenticeship uptake and delivery.

What I'm saying is, it's a good time to be in the market or make a return to the market.

The provider in question have been in the market for a long time, come with a very strong reputation and mainly delivery Apprenticeships in the 'Professional Services' specialisms to Levy and SME employers.

They need multiple Learner/Apprentice recruiters as they embark on a growth curve and need to keep up with the demand that the Sales team are bringing in to the business.

So why would this one be different from other roles on the market?
You're not starting from scratch and having to do a full 360 recruitment type role. You are being fed live apprenticeship vacancies constantly, the business has a very strong online presence and puts a lot of stock (and finance) into their marketing all of which generates strong employer branding and awareness around Apprenticeships - ultimately feeding you leads and a constant pipeline of junior candidates.

You will talent pool and pipeline potential apprenticeship candidates in line with the vacancies and employer requirements coming in to the business.

For these individuals, you will be such a key individual in their early career. You can be that person to set them on their way to start in their career so having that drive and emotional intelligence to communicate at this level is needed.

This is an office based role, for an incredibly inclusive business. Not quite a wolf of wall street environment and more a supportive but still with the social aspect included. Their staff retention is incredibly high, and the managers have a proven track record of developing people within the business who either stay or go on after a period of time to excel in other areas.
