Winchmore Tutors work closely with the Essex SEN Team are looking for Qualified SEN teachers to provide one to one tuition to support their learners.
We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong background SEN or SEMH, to work with us delivering tuition from KS2 to KS4 all over the Brentwood area during school hours and after school hours.
Teaching 1-2-1 or small group tuition lesson could be one of the most rewarding roles that you have experienced, focusing on one student at the time without the distractions of a classroom will help you develop a healthy rapport with the students and the planning of individual lessons around the student's interests will facilitate a successful progress making the learning experience positive for both (Tutor - Student)
Our 1-2-1 lessons can be held in school setting, home environments or local libraries throughout your local area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who are looking for more flexibility or additional work and who wish to make a positive impact on children who are not currently attending school and those with SEN.
Our rates of pay are negotiable depending on experience and in most cases for every 5 hours worked we pay an extra hour for planning and prep time. This type of work is not supply work and can be fitted in with your working schedule.
*Requirements:*
* Background teaching LAC and/or SEN children, Primary, English, Maths and Functional skills ranging from KS2-KS4.
* QTS status (or equivalent)
* Two years of teaching in a UK school
