RECRUITMENTiQ are working in partnership with a local charity that is currently seeking a Project Coordinator/Outreach Worker.
We win National Lottery Funding to work with minority ethnic communities in the London Borough of Merton. The charity is looking to recruit the following personnel over a two- year period starting in August 2021:
Part-time Project Coordinator 6 hours a week # GBP9,360 pa
The job involves setting up and monitoring project plans, managing schedules, organising and participating in stakeholder meetings and ensuring that project deadlines are met.
2 Outreach Workers 2 days a week #GBP5,200 pa each.
The role is responsible for adding extra capacity to our existing effort to acquire a better public sector understanding of and commitment to engaging with BAME communities to improve conditions under which they currently live.
Applicants for both these posts are to come from a BAME background or have extensive knowledge of BAME issues and able to speak at least one of the languages of these communities. Activities will take place mainly in the east of the borough.
An enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Certificate will be required as will a work and character reference
